Scuba Diving Travel

Feeding the fish face to face, or a bit of treasure hunting on the Spanish Main. Take your choice from the sites below.

DiveGuide.com - A comprehensive list of scuba clubs and resources, and here is a brief description from them:- Welcome to Dive Guide International the most comprehensive Scuba Diving resource on the Internet, providing you with the world of Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Travel Adventures and Accommodations. Dive Guide International was created by divers, for divers to provide a complete guide for people of all experience levels. We work as an extensive online catalog connecting the traveling diver who wants to research their options before diving.

Travelon AllScuba.Com - We have listed a number of Travelon site in other pages of our site. This is not favoritism they are just very good at what they do. Their scuba site is no exception. Here's how they describe themselves. "AllScuba.Com is your travel resource for planning and booking your next diving adventure. Search the dive vacations finder by destination, type of dive, and budget. Get dive tips and learn more about marine life you're sure to see on your next dive. Visit our interactive forum on diving and provide insights on your own diving adventures... Or submit your own dive logs with our NEW travel story builder!"

Rodale's Scuba Diving World Dive Guide - The ultimate dive travel directory. An enormous resource covering every dive spot on the planet. The dive travel area is particularly comprehensive. Information on dive packages and live-aboards. Lots of features and articles too.

Dive Travel Magazine Online - A good resource with direct links to dive travel providers. Worldwide coverage. The magazine section is well worth checking out.

Scuba Times Online - An excellent, general online dive magazine with a reasonably large travel section. We found the photo and technical sections really interesting.

Society For Underwater Exploration - is the public outreach and educational arm of Underwater Archaeology and Discovery Ltd. The purpose of the Society is to inform and involve the general public through television programming, the World Wide Web, books and CD-ROM's and other media created around the explorations of Franck Goddio. The Society sponsors research, exploration and excavation activities around the world aimed at finding and recovering or preserving underwater shipwrecks and other underwater sites of special historical and cultural significance. And so it goes on. Little or nothing to do with travel here but it is a fascinating site to wander around. Contains some very sophisticated graphics.

DeeperBlue.net - Deeperblue, the online magazine for scuba diving. Deeper Blue is for scuba divers of any qualification, organization and discipline. Dive on in...as they say. Has a good travel section including location and trip reports. The deep blue color of the site gets a little claustrophobic after a while.

Global Scuba Network - More information than you could shake a shark at here. Unfortunately very little of it appears to be travel related. Some of the sites in the scuba associations section however do have links to dive travel. Otherwise a great site, the scuba search engine is very useful.

Scuba World Online - We like this site, its very easy to navigate to all the important stuff from the front page. The travel section is worldwide and very comprehensive.

Divers Alert Network - Don't even get your toes wet until you have checked out this site. You may not live to regret it. For scuba divers worldwide, DAN means safety, health and peace of mind. A nonprofit organization founded in 1980 at Duke University Medical Center, DAN is supported by the largest association of recreational divers in the world. As part of its mission, DAN is best known for its 24-hour dive accident hotline and dive health and safety research program at Duke University Medical Center. DAN America and its European, Japanese, Southeast Asian and South African affiliates (IDAN) are active in dive safety training, equipment and publishing.

DiverNet - A very busy looking site, constructed by a serial iconomaniac. The content however more than makes up for the colorful front page. Loads of information on dive schools, locations and vacations throughout the world. The editorial features section covers every facet of scuba.

Rick's Link's - Links and links and more links. Many of them to dive related travel. A great site to spend an hour or two at.
