The architecture around the borough is virtually a history lesson
in itself with buildings
from all ages including fine examples of medieval, Tudor Georgian and Victorian
to name a few. Buildings of particular interest include Butterton Grange, Keele Hall
and the Church
of St. Thomas. The town’s centre-peace is the Stones where there has been a
weekday and Saturday since 1173. There is also a wealth of places within easy
reach including Alton Towers, the Peak District and the Jodrell Bank.
