Euphoriad occupies a converted Pasha-era residence on the alley that bears the same family name — impasse Caïd Bargach — a few minutes' walk from the Kasbah des Oudayas. Architect and decorator Chafiq Kabbaj spent eleven years restoring the building before it opened, and the result is contemporary furniture and curated objects set against original century-old stonework, rather than the more generic "traditional Moroccan" look found at most riads in this batch. With only 8 rooms and suites, it stays small and quiet even inside the working medina.

The rooftop does double duty as the property's standout amenity — an overflow pool alongside a marble-clad traditional hammam, both with panoramic views back over the medina and toward the river.
