The clearest trade-off is location: unlike most Chefchaouen guesthouses, which sit inside or right against the blue-washed old medina, this one is in the quartier administratif roughly 0.8 miles outside — meaning a walk or short taxi ride to reach the postcard streets, rather than stepping directly out into them.
