Algilà Fes Riad Medina Charme Hotel
Two restored 18th-century Fassi houses plus a purpose-built spa wing, at the medina's edge — easier for luggage than deep-medina riads, without losing the character.
Algilà combines two restored 18th-century Fassi houses with a separate, more modern wing built for the hotel's hammam and spa — an unusual two-building layout that keeps the historic character of the older rooms while giving the newer wing proper spa infrastructure. Sixteen rooms and suites split fairly evenly between the two.
Its real advantage is location: right at the edge of the medina rather than deep inside it, which means vehicles can get much closer than at most Fes riads — a genuine relief with luggage. Reviewers consistently name the same staff — a manager, a chef, front-of-house — which is usually a good sign of a place that's more personal than it looks on paper.
