Algilà combines two restored 18th-century Fassi houses with a separate, more modern wing built for the hotel's hammam and spa — an unusual two-building layout that keeps the historic character of the older rooms while giving the newer wing proper spa infrastructure. Sixteen rooms and suites split fairly evenly between the two.

Its real advantage is location: right at the edge of the medina rather than deep inside it, which means vehicles can get much closer than at most Fes riads — a genuine relief with luggage.
