Riad BE Marrakech
Laid-back design riad with pastel zellige, a plunge pool, and a rooftop made for slow breakfasts.
Riad BE takes the classic Marrakech courtyard house and turns the formality down and the charm up: pastel zellige, rattan and linen instead of heavy cedar and brocade. It is a favourite of a younger design-minded crowd, and the courtyard pool and plant-filled roof terrace do a lot of the work.
Breakfasts are long and generous, staff are genuinely relaxed, and the medina position keeps the souks and Jemaa el-Fna within a walkable fifteen minutes. If El Fenn is out of budget but you want the same spirit, this is a very good answer.
