Riad Yasmine
The famously photogenic green-tiled courtyard pool. Small, friendly, and minutes from the souks.
You have almost certainly seen Riad Yasmine's courtyard before you arrive: the little emerald-tiled pool framed by palms is one of the most photographed corners of Marrakech. What the photos don't show is how small and warm the place actually is — a handful of rooms around the patio, staff who learn your plans by day two, and a rooftop made for slow mornings.
The location, in the northern medina near Bab Taghzout, keeps you a pleasant walk from the souks but away from their crush. Book well ahead: with so few rooms and so much fame, it sells out months out in high season.
Why we picked it
- The green-tiled plunge pool made famous by a million photographs
- A handful of rooms, so it always feels like a private house
- Rooftop breakfasts under palms and banana leaves
